James Meyer (born 28 May 1986) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays in the Australian A-League for the Brisbane Roar.
Club career
Before turning professional Meyer had youth team stints at Bohemian F.C. and Hertha BSC before returning to Australia and playing for Brisbane Olympic and Eastern Suburbs.
Brisbane Roar
On 30 June 2010, Meyer signed a one-year contract with the Brisbane Roar after manager Ange Postecoglou spotted him playing in the Brisbane Premier League and offered him a trial with the club. One of the main reasons Postegoclou noted for signing Meyer was for his pace and versatility.[1]
